Our Mission

Urban Nature Connections exists to dismantle systemic barriers and foster equity by cultivating meaningful relationships between marginalized communities and the natural world. Through collaborative partnerships, inclusive programming, and grassroots restoration efforts, we create opportunities for youth, adults, and families to experience nature as a source of wellness, resilience, and belonging. We envision a future where every community, especially those historically excluded, thrives in deep connection with nature. Urban Nature Connections champions environmental justice and equitable access to green spaces, so that all people can live, heal, and grow in harmony with the land.
